Writing a Letter of Intent for Renting / Purchasing / Buying a Property

Most businesses require some places where they can establish a bigger and better network or where they can expand. When this happens, business owners look for potential piece of land or an old and unused establishment to start with their plan for business growth. The business owner might lease a property or perhaps buy or purchase the potential property.

This where writing a letter of intent to the owner of the potential property takes place. When a businessman intends to rent, lease, or buy a property, writing a letter of intent is the most formal thing to do. A letter of intent only shows that a businessman is so damn serious in acquiring a property.

A letter of intent for buying a property or at least renting one should be straightforward and concise. It should have all the details that it needs that the property owners can fully understand it with just one reading. Below is a sample letter of intent for renting / purchasing / buying a potential property.

If you are a company, be sure to use the company's official letterhead for a more formal approach. If you are an individual who just wants to buy a property, seek help from the homeowner's association or your local government engineering office, or go directly to the owner of the property and tell them your interest in renting / purchasing / buying the property and willing to undergo negotiations.
