Life is Like a Chocolate Cake, Eat It Before It Eats You!

Perhaps there is nothing more like tempting to look at a delicious chocolate marble cake with Toblerone pieces and chocolate shavings on top... The cake itself is not that all black chocolate sauce, it also has white icings too, and there's a surprising sweetness overload waiting for you on the inside --- thanks to the small kisses chocolates hiding in between its dough layers.

Imagine this... a simple circularly-shaped edible object can control your life just like that... upon receiving, the mouth-watering chocolate cake can easily make you give up to your own free will... you become weak, drool, and crave for more... making you under a state of oblivion or perhaps self-destruct! Now tell me, isn't that a cake can be a tool for mind control?

Quite romantic, intriguing, and sinfully deceiving actually! Life is not just like a box of chocolates as Forrest Gump stated, but also a piece of chocolate cake with full of surprises! What you see on the outside is the beautifully-crafted cake, sugar-coated with delicious designs, and sometimes with racist markings on it. And who cares about having a full stomach!  But of course, when the cake was eaten excessively, you'll get fat, and maybe acquire diabetes. This is where the problem starts.

In a more meaningful sense, a cake is a cake is a cake, and so is life. Cakes will always be there to treat us nicely but sometimes, it also destroys us little by little. Life is not all that glam and jazz also. The road to having a good and meaningful life is tough and rough. But when you finally at the top, a good and delicious cake is just a simple reward.

So, here are some of my plans on how to improve life and perhaps help you bake your own "cake" and life your life to the fullest in the real world. These things, I find them very effective:
  • Improve your skills. Whatever you believed in that life will be quite good to you even if you did not finish your schooling, a finished education and continued learning more are far more important than having none. Updating yourself to technologies, new business skills and ideas, or just finishing college are just some ways to become a better you!
  • Be emotionally stable no matter what. A chocolate sour dough cake with cherries on top is still a sour dough, no matter how it was beautifully decorated. I remember myself a few years ago, when I was still bitter at my previous work, the big compensation did not matter to me anymore. I was stressed and depressed with my life, I got bored at work. So, how not to become a sour dough? You must keep away from people (or work) who (which) can only give you sourness or bitterness in life such as stress and depression. Give yourself a favor, break free!
  • Be financially stable, too! Now, I have to be honest with you. I really haven't gotten up to this stage but I am getting there. At my age, learning the basics of money and understanding its principles are quite hard to understand. So, how will I be able to get on this stage? Simple. Find a person who can influence you! Finding the right boss who can copy his/her managing skills can be a good influencer when it comes managing your financial assets. On this stage, you will have to go back to step one by "Improving Your Skills" several times to achieve your financial freedom goals!
Baking a cake is quite hard for beginners. But when perfected, making a cake is just a piece of cake... and so is life! So, enjoy life and eat a piece of cake!
